Learning When Learning Can Be Hard

Help me give my students more learning experiences. During this pandemic, life has changed for everyone, especially kids. With these different materials, I can give them more experiences in learning foundational skills needed to learn.

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I love my students! They are such bright, smart students who struggle to fit in the "Gen Ed" Box. Although they struggle in certain areas and are identified as having a disability, I love seeing their faces when they realize they are smart and can do anything with hard work!

My Project

These materials will help create a fun, exciting learning experience. The A to Z Mystery books will allow these students with learning disabilities to read exciting books, at their reading levels, just as their peers. Students with disabilities in learning can often time get stuck reading simple books when they are in 5th and 6th grade. These A to Z Mystery books are perfect for these readers and are interesting stories they can read at their level. The other two items will help students with their basic reading skills and encourage engagement when learning the skill.

All of these items support in-class and virtual learning experiences.
