Our school mission is to educate all students to become skillful independent learners and responsive productive citizens. As this school year begins, I see my students striving to learn. Each student brings their own personality to our diverse classroom community that creates a learning space that welcomes one an-others thoughts and ideas. The differing personalities and learners allows for awesome learning experiences and those "ah-ha" moments. The skills students learn in my classroom will carry with them as they continue on with their education.
Each day my goal in my classroom is to help my students learn in the most engaging way possible.
I want my students to enjoy what they are learning, without realizing the impact the lesson had or the new skill they have acquired. Wouldn't you like to learn in a fun and engaging way? Well, thats what I try to do, make every day the best learning experience possible for my students.
My Project
A subscription to Flocabulary will help to enhance the learning of vocabulary and skills in the classroom. The program uses songs and visuals to help students learn, remember, and apply the learning they do every day. Lessons can now become more lively and engaging.
Students learn better when they are engaged.
With every lesson that I teach, I strive to make the activities engaging and fun. Flocabulary is a way to help instill skills and vocabulary in my students. My class is a diverse group of learners (ELL and Special Education students), this program will be a way to help motivate my students to meet their highest capabilities. With 1:1 Chromebooks in our classroom, we will be able to use all the features and opportunities the program has to offer.
