Help my students improve their reading comprehension by supporting Learning Tools for Success! Reading a book is amazing but being able to understand what you have read is vital to their learning!
Many of my student are from military families.
They need reading comprehension activities to prepare them for the world of learning that they will encounter with their many moves through out their lives. Military families give their all to our country and I want to make sure that I have the best materials for their academic journey.
My Project
My students will be reinforcing phonic skills by using the phonic flip books to improve articulation sounds. They will also be using fiction and non-fiction comprehension kits to improve their recall of story elements and facts. In writing, they will be able to research and write a report with the writing kit easily due to graphic organizers. Finally, when they use the cause and effect matching books they will be able to improve specific reading skills.
