Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are sweet, creative kids who love to learn new things. They enjoy experiencing the world around them.

Unfortunately due to the school closures my students can't have those experiences at this time.

Despite these challenges that have continued to be dedicated to their schoolwork.

My Project

I will use the teachers pay teachers gift cards to purchase resources for my students to use from home. Distance learning is new for me and being able to use resources that are already online will benefit my students tremendously.

I want to purchase activities that correlate with virtual field trips to help them learn about different ecosystems.

I also hope to purchase activities that relate to the California Missions. Students usually look forward to building a mission and sharing it with the class. Unfortunately due to the school closures this will not be possible. I hope to find other fun activities that relate to the missions that they can do at home.
