Help me give my students a Chromebook to help have access to more technology when learning in the classroom setting. The leaders of tomorrow need working knowledge of how to apply technology to advance themselves.
I have been blessed with 40 third graders this year. We live in a rural community with a diverse population of learners. All of my students are eager to learn and I love to be able to offer them access to learning through many platforms. We are a Title I school and funds for technology are not always readily available. I am thankful for the four Chromebooks in our class we are able to use but with so many students in class many do not get to use them weekly and definitely not daily. I would love to add more Chromebooks to help our students to learn through a different platform daily.
We currently have started diving deep into interactive read alouds and technology and the Chromebooks will help us to research topics, complete writing, and expand our learning.
All of my students have gained so much knowledge and are eager for even more!
The use of technology in both school and the workplace is almost universal in today's world. I love being able to have my students leave my room able to fluently use a computer to learn and complete assignments.
The use of this Chromebook will not only enhance our learning in the class, it will enhance the students’ ability to succeed in the future.
It will be used daily for reading, writing, and researching during small group activities. By donating you are not only helping one student you are helping many classes. We take the utmost care of all technology in our classroom so that as many students can benefit as possible.
