This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from all walks of life. We are an Interdistrict High School. 70% of our students come from an urban district and 30% come from suburban districts.

Preparing for the future during COVID 19

We have students from all walks of life with different backgrounds, experiences, and challenges. Many of these students have become disengaged or disconnected from school.

We have approximately 375 students on campus from 9th grade to 12th grade. In my health class I see approximately 80 to 100 students throughout the school year. We are a Title I school with extremely limited funds.

My Project

Mobile whiteboards will give students a resource to work through their projects as a team. By having a whiteboard to brainstorm on and use to write down their ideas will help them work together better.

Work as a team!!!

Students currently share ideas through messages from one to another or by writing on a piece of paper. By having a white for their group to work on it will give them more of a real-life experience, help students to learn off of one another and really visually collaborate on projects together.
