Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The products I am including are enrichment STEM items and storage for them. These items (pencils, paper, flashcards, math manipulatives) can accelerate and build on students' thinking and let kids work collaboratively with their classmates to build their creations. Students are learning from each other and building on communication skills as well as motor skills. Since the pandemic, many students have been spending many hours in front of a screen. I would like to bring back hands-on enrichment projects that give students opportunities to work with their classmates and build relationships with each other. My students would benefit from this project in building all the skills mentioned above. I can't wait to watch them continue to grow in 3rd grade!!
