My Students

My students are from a rural area that is economically challenged in Kentucky. I work with students who are autistic, have attention issues, and learning disabilities.

My students are eager learners who work hard to improve their reading skills to catch up with their peers They have a desire to learn!

My Project

These requested binders and tab dividers will allow my students to organize their data charts to self monitor their IEP goals. Each time we progress monitor their goals they will use the highlighters to complete a graph so they can see if they are improving or if we need to make changes.

It teaches the students to become more knowledgeable in their learning process, become advocates for their learning, and teach them organizational skills.

As a 5th grade student preparing to move to the middle school these skills will help them to become independent in their learning process.
