Help me give my students the resources needed to help them learn the important life skill of how to research.

My Project

In our language arts curriculum, we have a unit that is dedicated to informational reading and research. Students learn the skills of researching by starting with a basic book and then continuing to grow their knowledge through more in-depth books on the topic of their choice. In the science classroom, we would like to continue to develop their research skills as we study the planets of our Solar System. The students start with great passion as we dive into our research.

In order for our students to be successful, we need more high-quality, age-appropriate resources for them to further their research.

Unfortunately, students don't have enough resources to use multiple sources to gather information. The lack of resources forces us to use the Internet sooner than we would like, which is a higher-level skill that students struggle with.

Through your support to help purchase these resources, students will be able to have more books in their hands to help them further their skills. We know we can help them persevere when we have more books in their hands.
