My students need 2 iPads, cases, and ink for printing books. There are so many opportunities with apps that can help teach letter names and sounds as well as reading fluency.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have the sweetest, bright-eyed, ready-to-learn 5 - 6 year old kids anyone could ask for. Our class is very diverse, with various backgrounds. Families send their babies to me to shape these kiddos minds. Some kids' families are more fortunate than others. Many of my kids' parent work multiple jobs to support their family.
Twenty one students in the class promises me a good variety of learning abilities.
Some kids come in knowing how to write their name, then others don't know the difference between letters and numbers. Overall we are all excited to be here and READY to to learn!
My Project
The two iPads will be added to our technology center for my students to reinforce learning their reading and writing skills. There are many apps that can be downloaded onto the iPads for introduction and tutorials of reading skills. The ink will be used to print colorful books for reading centers.
Reading skills can be reinforced by having fun through play.
When children have fun and relax learning seems to come easy. colorful books and talking technology can do the trick. Technology offers fun and inviting ways to make children laugh and have fun while making their brains grow.
Eye hand coordination also is a plus! The apps have the students form letters and say sounds while having fun. Their small fingers need that extra practice forming letters.
