My Project

Our multicultural classroom is full of hungry learners. Covid has impacted third graders in first and second grade. The students should be at a mid second grade reading level at the beginning of third grade. Many of our students are now coming in at pre-kinder to first grade reading levels.

Providing them with reading areas and resources to be successful will help to influence their desire to learn.

The students are also in need of social learning. Providing reading centers will also encourage positive social skills. Our students need and deserve to feel valued.
