Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are located in a rural, low income/high poverty area with a diverse background. Majority of the students are on free or reduced lunch. They are a group of creative and energetic fourth graders that are faced with many challenges daily.

My students need earbuds while learning and creating assignments on their IPADs.

They need to feel at home while they are at school. I believe this will help them to become better learners and readers, while being able to express themselves.

My Project

The ear buds that I am requesting will help my students to listen carefully. The students love to read and often enjoy listening to read alouds on their IPADs. Receiving these ear buds will allow them to hear the stories of their favorite books or articles without straining to understand what is being said. The students also need the ear buds to listen to educational programs that require them to hear and respond.

Using technology is a vital part of learning in the classroom.

The students will learn to listen while focusing on their assigned book using the ear buds. The ear buds will help my students with the learning process using technology.
