I need to attend the virtual Infosys Pathfinders Winter Institute so I can be able to teach my students how to make cool interactive projects and learn circuits and programming using Chibitronics.

“There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self," Aldous Huxley.
My students are a diverse group who come from a variety of backgrounds.
Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken as a first language, or not spoken at all. I am in a community where both Spanish and French are spoken.
Despite some language barriers, my students find a way to communicate and participate in all classroom activities with enthusiasm and determination. The passion my students show every day inspires me to be a better teacher and to strive to meet all of their needs. My students are incredible learners, and as a result, I am meeting the bar they set.
Chibitronics is an ingenious way of combining paper crafting with coding and programming. The Infosys Pathfinders Institute will give me the training and background knowledge required to effectively implement coding into my classroom. This low-cost program is the perfect way to get materials into the hands of all of my students. I will experience five days of training provided by experts in Interactive Computing through the Infosys Pathfinder Online Winter Institute.
During this course I will learn paper crafting techniques that utilize various craft materials in combination with programmable components.
I am so excited to attend this Winter program. But, I am even more excited to bring this new idea to my school and students.
