My Students

The boys and girls in my class are all part of the Gifted and Talented program and enjoy solving problems and being challenged. In order to prepare my students for future challenges, they must develop a solid foundation of flexible thinking and be fluent with technology.

We are in need of exciting and innovative learning materials to integrate real-world computer science experiences into our classroom environment.

Incorporating engaging technology such as robots are an intriguing way to introduce students to the basics of coding and can have immense influence on their future paths in life!

My Project

One of the goals of our Gifted and Talented program is to expose students to new concepts so that they may become aware of their strengths. Most students have no experience coding so participation in coding activities may allow students to bring forth strengths that were not yet realized.

With the Ozobot Bits, students will be exposed to coding in an exciting way that also fosters creativity, as students are challenged to create their own codes using markers.

There are endless engaging STEAM lessons that can be carried out with Ozobots that will help my students build confidence with technology and coding while also allowing them to explore the limits of their creativity. These cool tech materials will surely make for lasting learning experiences!
