My students are inquisitive, loving and eager to learn. I teach special education students in a pull out setting. I pull small groups of students in grades kindergarten through fifth. They love to engage in technology and interact with one another. They are all on individual levels and are continuously growing and making progress. Everyday they come in and are ready to learn despite the challenges they face outside of school. They are working towards improving their math and literacy skills, in order to achieve their goals. They are learners and eager to discover everyday!
Students love to learn in ways that are engaging and in ways that include technology. The iPad and Osmo will help students to work on their spelling, sounds and math fluency in a way that will hold their attention and foster independence. By donating to this project, you will help students to practice skills independently and in partners. Students will be able to work together in order to complete tasks and build community through a common learning goal. The iPad and Osmo will help engage students in the classroom and give them an opportunity to practice their skills in order to apply them in other areas of the classroom.
