I have a group of kindergarten and first graders in a small east Texas school. All of my students have very unique personalities, making our classroom a fun, diverse, and exciting environment for learning. They are wonderful at working together, which helps with our small class size.
My students are so eager to learn and enthusiastic about school!
They enjoy learning though hands on activities and love using new tools in the classroom. We enjoy growing together as a classroom family.
My Project
If this project is funded, my kindergarten and first grade students will use the Kids Edition Fire Tablets for many things. I plan to use apps such as, ABC mouse, Epic!, PopMath, and Phonics Ninja. We will also use the tablets for a listening and reading station. I believe my students will benefit greatly from this additional instruction.
My students enjoy using technology every day.
Many of them are accustomed to using tablets and cell phones. By encouraging them to use tools that they already use daily, they will be more inclined to learn.
I cannot wait to find more exciting apps for my students!
