My students need STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math which is education that focuses on much more than these four subjects. My students will use manipulates and iPads to reinforce what they have learned.
The focus of STEM education is how these subjects relate to each other and the real world. That means that these subjects need to be taught together and be focused on problem solving. I am able to coordinate iPads and apps with what we have learned by using hands on materials.
STEM manipulative and the integration of iPads will give my students the opportunity to explore and create using teamwork.
The IQ Builders will allow for creative engineering using construction. Playshire Brain Flakes develop children’s fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination & enhances creativity through fun & play. ZOOB BuilderZ S.T.E.M. Challenge, gives students the tools they need to design and build creations to solve challenges, such as hitting targets and making balls bounce.
iPads will then gives my students the opportunity to incorporate what they have learned into technology and other areas of learning. When researching apps, there are many out there that support STEM. I will be able to use them with my students to reinforce and work with what we have learned together.
