Learning Through Small Groups!

Help me give my students be successful when learning through small group instruction. These resources will allow my students to be successful through small group instruction in both reading and math!

My Project

While learning through small group instruction, students will get the necessary and targeted instruction they need. Knowing all my students have different needs, small group instruction can help me meet the individual needs of each student. My goal is to become more organized and make SGI more effective. Each of my students has the ability to progress their learning, and learning through small groups can help them reach their full potential.

With the help of these supplies and books, small group instruction can be more meaningful and effective for my students.

The Storage Bin Bundle, folders, stamps, and hanging folders will allow me to create a more organized small group instruction environment for my students. Students will be able to have flexible seating around the room with the Floor Cushions, using the various manipulatives such as the counters and dice for learning games. With the help of the Pocket Chart Stands, students can interact with their flashcards for sounds, vocabulary words, and math facts. The Dry-erase pockets will allow students to interact with the content multiple times (while also saving the environment by saving on paper). Finally, all the books will help enhance my read aloud time as well as foster that love of reading for my students.

Seeing other teachers implement small group instruction makes me want to continuously grow in this type of instruction. By doing so, I can become a better teacher for my students one group at a time.
