My Project

Incorporating time for board games and puzzle play into our middle-level class schedule and learning process has proven to be an incredibly effective way to foster engagement, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills among students of all ages. In today's technologically driven world, traditional teaching methods may fall short of capturing and maintaining students' attention or providing a range of opportunities for students to showcase problem-solving skills they may not have during many mathematics lessons.

Games have the unique ability to make learning enjoyable while reinforcing academic concepts across various subjects.

Whether it's mathematics, science, history, or language arts, educational games offer a hands-on approach that not only enhances communication skills and understanding but also encourages students to apply their problem-solving skills in practical scenarios. This classroom set of games and puzzles will provide students with the opportunity to choose from a variety of problem-solving games that will allow them to strategize, choose different actions, discuss, and plan to reach goals, as well as develop multi-step problem-solving, spatial reasoning, pattern recognition, resource management all while sharing their ideas, successes, and challenges with their peers.
