Let's play a game! Students love to hear those words. Literacy games will provide students with the opportunity to practice skills in a creative way!
The literacy games will be provided to a group of 32 fourth grade students located at a public school.
Each classroom is filled with students with diverse needs and that learn in different ways; therefore, these games will allow students to learn literacy strategies in a fun, interactive way!
My Project
These literacy games will be used a few days throughout the week for students to build their understanding of cause/effect, grade level vocabulary, prefixes/suffixes, using context clues, and making inferences in reading samples. Students will play the games during their word work literacy centers.
This donation will benefit students' learning in the classroom.
They will be exposed to more grade level text, which builds their comprehension. Students will focus on vocabulary, cause/effect, using context clues, making inferences, and identifying prefixes/suffixes. These are all skills that are practiced throughout the school year.
