My Project

My 4th-graders are an active, enthusiastic, and joyful group of learners. I use play to help my students develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain self-confidence in math. My class consists of culturally, linguistically, and socio-economically diverse students. Multilingual learners represent 46% of the students in the class. Each student brings a unique perspective to each lesson and activity.

The Learning Through Play project provides students with games, hands-on activities, and collaborative play opportunities.

My students enjoy a classroom environment that encourages risk-taking, discussions, and laughter while exploring new math concepts. The activities and games you will be providing for my students will excite and spark their interest in math.
