Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from a low economic status and background. Many of our students in our community have very limited opportunities to engage in outdoor activities which promote learning and health. I want to be able to provide these opportunities in order to promote more physical activities that incorporates learning and critical thinking skills. My wish is to enable students to be able to participate in a more global society by giving them hands on learning using outdoor and indoor games like air hockey, connecting cubes, bow and arrow. These resources will help my students make connections to the real world and actively participate in their learning. By providing engaging and hands on games with critical thinking skills, my students will be better prepared for the 21st century challenges. These resources are the best pathway to play to learn!
