My Students

I teach in a classroom full of busy energetic kindergarteners. Every day is full of surprises and it is always fun to see children learning and being successful! My students are interested in many areas including literacy, math, and science. They are always asking questions and eager to learn. I feel that I have the opportunity to instill a love for learning and to lead them on the right path in their educational journey.

I believe that creating the right classroom environment will inspire young children to continue to develop a love for school and learning.

Also, we aim to support each child at their own developmental level through Huron Valley Schools curriculum implemented at our school. My students are at the age where they needs hands on materials to help them learn. Bringing different materials to the classroom will not only make it comfortable and fun, but it will allow our students' imaginations to blossom!

My Project

Young students learn through hands-on materials and through play. Our class is working hard on social-emotional skills, as well as, on literacy. These materials will help students practice these concepts for it is so crucial to be successful in these areas.

Kindergarteners will build foundational skills using these materials that will help student's later learning.

Practicing different scenarios with dolls, naming feelings, puppets, and making good choices will strengthen social-emotional skills. The sight word puzzles and alphabet beads will not only improve literacy development, but children will also be strengthening their fine motor skills.
