This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach at a PreK through 8th grade, Title I school in Virginia. Our school serves a very diverse population which includes a high military population, immigrants, a high Hispanic population, French students who are enrolled in the NATO program, a high transient population, and I could go on and on.
Our PreK students in particular were chosen for our PreK program because they and their families were going through many hardships and these students are considered "at-risk students".
My Project
All materials ordered for this project will be used for my students virtual learning. This project includes manipulatives that will be used for teaching language arts and math. The letter tiles will be used to help my students with letter recognition and spelling. The letter locks will be used for letter recognition. The dominos will be used to help my students with counting and matching.
Early learners learn best through play.
My students are very limited in manipulatives for learning during remote learning. Help me to provide these items for my students to aid in enhancing their learning.
