I am so excited to be spending my first year teaching in the OKCPS school district. I spent much of last year substituting on the South Side of OKC and got to know the children. Now that I have my own classroom, I want to give my students the best school experience possible.
My students are bright shining stars who are eager to learn and grow at school.
They are amazing and deserve only the very best from their learning experience.
My students are learning so much this year! We are always doing centers and trying to use tangible things as learning tools. We have a few things, but I am always trying to build our classroom to be the best it can be!
Since this is my first year teaching, unfortunately I don't have a large collection of games, puzzles and manipulatives that I need to teach my students in the most efficient way possible.
While my students are bright shining stars, they are still very young and need sensory objects to maximize their learning experience.
My students love hands-on learning. They will use the items from this project to build, mold, play and learn about texture. They are also very interested in geography as we did a unit over children of the world. They would love to have a globe to reiterate what they already have learned about maps. They are amazing at puzzles as well so they will be so excited to receive brand new ones!
