My students are very diverse which makes teaching them so much more fun and interesting. I teach students that have disabilities with students who do not have disabilities in the same classroom together.
My students love learning and providing hands on and fun experiences for them is extremely important in keeping them engaged and learning to the best of each of their unique abilities.
Since they are all so different, I strive to provide a variety of age appropriate materials so everyone’s needs and interest are met!
My Project
Preschool students learn best through play, so a variety of dramatic play and small group materials aid in their learning. The materials I am requesting are fun, exciting and keep children engaged while learning new things. The best part is the children don’t even know they are learning because they are having so much fun!
Some of these items promote social interaction, learning to share and take turns and help them learn about people with different abilities.
The other items prepare students for reading. I have some advanced preschool students who are ready to start reading so the beginning reader books are just what they need to keep growing!
