We have a school mission of providing, preparing, and promoting. As a staff, it is our responsibility to know that we are providing students with multiple opportunities to become who they dream to be through explorative learning and playing. We prepare students on a daily basis to become lifelong learners and outstanding citizens of our community. We also promote an academic and social well being among our students by fostering kindness and responsibility.
My Project
These items will help our students build relationships they can apply in their everyday community. As a school, we hold kind relationships with others at the top of our everyday list of what we want our students to learn. We are responsible for not only providing students with 21st century technology to keep up with the changing world, but providing them with 21st century life skills as well. The items in our DonorsChoose project will allow us to expand and apply the skills we strive to teach.
Providing students with opportunities to practice these skills will strengthen their relationships with others.
We plan to implement these items in a dramatic play room. Using the market stand and puppets to build communication among our students. We hope to use the kitchen and kitchen items to just promote casual conversation skills and promote sharing and cooperation between each other.
