My Students
My class is full of energetic kindergarteners who are full of imagination and wonder. They love to learn in many ways, especially by playing games!

Research has shown that children learn many skills through playing games. They begin to understand how to socialize by taking turns and working through problems, they retain more information about what they are learning, and they get to release some of the energy that 5 year olds have!
My Project
Each morning, we start our day with learning centers. These educational games allow the students to start their day by having fun, socializing with friends and learning at the same time!
Using games as tools for education help the students learn phonics and math while playing with their friends!
Games, such as puzzles, go fish and hot dot pens, let students learn phonics and math skills while laughing with their friends! While strengthening their educational skills, students also work on taking turns, talking out their problems and getting to know each other! Learning through play allows students to gain skills they will continue to use their entire life!
