My students need lots of exposure to letters. The float and find alphabet bubbles will help students learn and review letters while exploring the water table.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is located in a low income/high poverty district. 100% of our students receive free lunches. For many of my students school is the one place for them to learn grow and explore. I want to be able to provide my students with as many hands on experiences in and out of the classroom.
Preschoolers learn best through play.
I want to create an environment that will allow them to explore materials that they might not have the opportunities to utilize outside of school.
My Project
Preschoolers learn best through play. Whether its learning letters and sight words, pretending in dramatic play or building three dimensional structures. They need to have access to a variety of materials so they can learn.
My students love to build and pretend in the block area.
The magna tiles will allow students to build three dimensional structures and foster their imagination.
The messy mats will allow students to be creative and explore while keeping the mess contained! It is extremely important to give our preschoolers more time for play and exploration, so much learning comes from that! Preschoolers need play!
