Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Ready, set, go! This year is a year for new beginnings. Not only are my five year old students starting kindergarten for the first time, but their teacher is also teaching kindergarten for the first time! This means we are all new, excited, and anxious for the adventures to come!
My students are passionate new learners who are curious and eager to learn.
Our school is located in a high-poverty area. 100% of our students receive free and reduced price lunch. My students certainly want to learn and achieve all that they can, however we need your help!
My Project
The materials requested in this project will most certainly be used on a daily basis in our classroom. The materials will be used in small group student centers. I am true believer that children learn best when they are having fun and playing. These file folder games are great for students to play to reinforce the skills they have learned during our lessons all while having fun!
The materials requested will make a huge difference in the learning and lives of my students.
Being that this is my first time teaching kindergarten, I lack the materials needed to run a productive and successful kindergarten classroom. Without your donations the materials would otherwise be unavailable to my students. You are making a tremendous impact on my teaching and their learning by getting these materials into their hands.
