Learning Through Play With a New Dramatic Play Area!

Help me give my students a new dramatic play area. Children learn as they play. The new kitchen area will allow they to learn social skills and cognitive skills that they will continue to use throughout their lives.

My Students

I teach 19 four and five year olds. They come to school to learn and to be loved. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on activities, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!

The children love learning!

It is obvious when they come into the classroom with smiles and hugs. They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

My Project

The purpose of prek is teach children social and emotional skills to make them successful in life. My students love dramatic play and their favorite is my kitchen area. This kitchen will give more room for students and socializing. It will encourage students to pretend, use their imagination, and explore different opportunities. It is amazing to watch the students increase their vocabulary, their communication skills, learn life skills and develop friendships through play. I chose this kitchen because it will be used for many years to come touching hundreds of students lives.
