We have amazing group of 3-6th grade students who come from a rural background ranging from apartment housing to farm housing. Our students are eager to learn new concepts in school and thrive on the routine of school. Many of our students qualify for free and reduced lunch and many receive buddy packs prior to the weekend.
We are a low-income school which makes it very difficult to get the resources needed to keep new concepts in the forefront of our planning.
Our students would benefit from additional resources to bring new insights into their learning.
Donations for this project will help 3rd through 6th grade students learn basic skills in the lifetime sports of soccer, tennis and volleyball. This will allow students to have opportunities to stay active throughout their lifetime. This project will also help students have knowledge of specific sports before they enter into middle and high school.
This project will greatly benefit our students who participate in our community soccer programs as well as feed into those who are wanting to participate in our newly founded middle school volleyball program.
Having the opportunity to be active in these particular programs will have a positive impact with these students.
