Ms. Manley from Buffalo NY is requesting educational kits & games through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students wobble cushions so that they can wiggle while learning. My students also need alphabet activities to learn letter recognition and letter sounds. My students need games to learn their numbers and counting.

My kindergarten students are incredible in every way. Kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds or hold a pencil. Our students attend an inner-city public school where approximately 90% live below the poverty line. We spend a lot of time doing hands-on learning.
All of our students receive a free or reduced-price lunch and participate in the backpack program on the weekends.
This does not stop our students from coming to school and showing their love for learning. We love to explore everything around us, both inside and outside of the classroom. We love to show what we know and learn in a hands-on way.
My kindergarten students love to learn using a hands on interactive approach. My kindergartners are little people who are in constant motion and have very short attention spans. Asking them to sit for extended periods of time throughout the day is nearly impossible. My students need Wobble Cushions so that they are able to wiggle and wobble as they learn new educational concepts.
Learning should be a fun, hands on, engaging experience for young learners.
My students are just beginning to learn their letters and letter sounds. Letter recognition and sound identification are an essential component for young children learning to read. The Alphabet Learning Locks and Float and Find Alphabet Bubbles will be used daily during choice time and during small group instruction. These Alphabet Learning Locks and Float and Find Alphabet Bubbles will allow for my students to learn their letters and letter sounds using a tactile approach.
Number recognition and identification are also an essential educational foundation for kindergartners. The Count and Link set will allow for my students to identify different numbers and use counting skills to count a specific number of links. The Count and Link set will not only allow for students to learn numbers, but also use one to one correspondence. The Number-Bots will also get students learning number identification. The Number-Bots will be a fun way to encourage students to learn number recognition because once they identify the number they will be able to transform the number into a robot. These Number-bots will be a perfect addition to my classroom and will get my students learning numbers through a hands on approach.
