I will begin my teaching career in in September as a Pre-school teacher. Teaching Pre-school has always been my passion, and I am more than excited to begin my journey this fall! Although I have yet to meet my 35 new friends, I know that I will have a range of students in my classroom. Some with learning difficulties, other with difficulties outside of school such as poverty or being homeless. Regardless of their situations, it is my job to ensure that their first school experience is a positive one.
One of the many things I love about preschool is their endless imaginations and excitement for new knowledge.
Preschool is a grade full of wonder, curiosity, and growth, and it is my job to keep that excitement alive to create lifelong learners.
My Project
Help me to provide my students with art supplies to aid in their exploration through different textures and forms of art. We are not given a budget to spend on art supplies in our school, but I find creating art is the best way for young learners to express their different personalities.
Students light up when they are able to bring home an art project to show their families their hard work and creativity.
With the easel, drying rack, and art collage supplies students will have the supplies they need to fully express their creativity. They will be able to paint, make a collage, or a 3D sculpture to express their creativity and show what they know.
