Mrs. Graham from Lakeland FL is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need eight stability balls to serve as their seating during center rotations at my teacher's table.

WOW! What can I say about the students I serve? They are energetic, eager to learn, creative, sensitive, bold, wowed, active. They are explorers and future paleontologists, actors, football players, gymnasts, doctors, lawyers, teachers, farmers, race car drivers, etc. One is a motherless child, yet she's are loving and caring. They are my babies and I teach them every day to the best of my abilities because they are who I will depend on in the future.
My school is a Title I school in Lakeland, Florida where 95 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
As a reading teacher, I'm always amazed that my students have the biggest smiles when they come into our classroom. I greet them at the door with a wide smile, a huge hello and the biggest bear hug EVER. They leave to the sounds of a daily motivational quote and knowing that I love them because I tell and show them.
Many teachers feel as if regular seating is the thing of the past and stability balls, crate seating, stools, high tops, etc. has a future in education. After researching pros and cons of alternative seating, I've found that these items will help my students sit up straight and engage the muscles and the parts of their brains needed to remain balanced.
Stability ball classroom chairs provide benefits ranging from quieter classrooms to more attentive students.
As an alternative to regular seating, using stability balls in school include improved physical strength and not to mention increased mental focus as students learn more about the world around them.
