My Students

My students are curious and eager learners! I work with 36 students in grades K-5 in small group settings. All groups meet with me each day they are at school to receive reading interventions and additional support to continue developing their reading skills. K-2 students work on letter sounds, phonics, word building, decoding skills, and fluency. Students in grades 3-5 work on decoding skills, reading with fluency, and comprehension activities.

Our learning environment is a safe and close-knit space, where students are comfortable to take risks in their learning and encourage each other to succeed.

They love getting additional books in their hands to read at home and take pride in their reading growth.

My Project

Your donation will help support Kindergarten and first grade learners with their letter identification and sounds as well as sight word building.

We use magnetic letters on a daily basis, and now with trying to keep a safer learning environment, I'd like to provide each student with their own set of magnetic letters to use when they come to my room each day.

If each student has their own set, it will help manage any shared germs in class. Thank you for considering contributing to these young, eager learners!
