Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I personally understand the struggle that my ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students encounter, being a former ESOL student myself. For this reason, my goal is to provide my students with much needed materials and resources to afford them the best possible opportunity to excel.
My students are eager learners with big potential, and I want to provide them with the necessary tools for their academic success in the classroom as well as in their future careers.
My students have a world of possibilities; they just need the proper tools to succeed.
My Project
This project is to help my students learn the alphabets. It seems like an easy task but not for kids who have never set foot in a classroom. Kindergarten is such an important start to their educational path. I want my students to love learning and to accomplish many goals in their lives. It is extremely important that I help them accomplish this goal with as many opportunities as possible. My students are only 5 and 6 years old. I want to make sure that my students love learning and this project will help them do just that in a developmentally appropriate way.
