Help me give my students the tools they need to do in class STEM research and robotics coding.

As the Director providing quality after school STEM enrichment in an extremely low-income and high poverty school in one of America's most poverty stricken cities, my scholars are faced with a plethora of challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, my goal is to inspire them to think big, aim high, and reach for the stars by providing hands-on curriculum that not only provides academic support but teaches my scholars that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
Our STEM Academy scholars are talented, intelligent, witty, and very charismatic and are taught "Achievement Through Excellence" in our program.
These scholars are some of the best and brightest and strive to achieve more. Many of our program's scholars face challenging lives at home based on various socioeconomic factors, which is why I focus on personal growth in areas that they both excel and struggle in to both highlight their strengths and improve areas in which they may be weak.
By providing my students with a dedicated laptop, they will have access to technology that they currently do not have access to.
Our students will utilize the HP laptop to conduct research on types of bridges and the engineering design process (EDP) as they learn about bridges and civil engineering.
They will also be provided the opportunity to design, build, and code a robot using the LEGO EV3 Education suite.
Access to a computer is a much needed tool that is vital to classroom learning at Apogee 2020 and it would allow for even more discovery coupled with our weekly curriculum.
