Help me give my students STEAM supplies such as Snap Circuits, Makey Makey, and Ozobot Bit Coding Robots.! Coding robots are great to teach beginning coding skills as well as technology integration.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are scholars that deserve the very best in STEAM education. They are eager to learn coding, circuits, and other information technology but have never had a space to do so. I serve over 650 students every week. The majority of our population comes from low income homes and speaks English as a second language.
These students are eager, determined, and ready to engage in STEAM learning!
This project will allow students to learning vital technology skills, as well as communication and problem solving skills. They are so excited!
My Project
The great thing about STEAM education is that students learn how to solve problems. STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) projects usually involve complex thought processes, trying, and failing.
Too often, students are not allowed a safe place to make mistakes, pick up the pieces, and try again.
The materials in my project will allow students to go through the STEAM problem solving process in a safe environment. Students will use robots, called ozobots, to code different patterns and make the robots do what they want them to do. If it doesn't work, they will need to analyze their mistakes and try another way.
Snap Circuits and Makey Makey kits will allow students to problem solve in a different way. Similar to coding, circuits will only work if all the pieces come together in the right way. Students will have the opportunity to create circuits of their choosing and student engagement is through the roof!
