I teach a wide variety of topics in my Computer Lab through the year. I teach grades K-6 and Special Education during the classes. The students learn everything from Digital Citizenship, typing, Google Education and Mirco Soft Suite, to robotics. Through the different devices we have they enjoy trying out the different ones. They are great kids.
Each student is special.
They are eager to learn and ready to listen. They are sponges when it come to technology. They love learning technology!
In our after-school STEAM programs, we are learning about different robotic platforms. We have two, but with 20 students in our club, we would love to add more for them to use.
The Mini Sphero is a very cool robot that the students love.
Sphero is very durable, and the students love the cool colors. We are hoping to have more Sphero's for when our next after-school club begins. We create different scenarios for the students to problem solve and then program the robots to finish the scenario. Whether we use mazes, bowling, or cones they love being able to use technology.
