My Students
My students are motivated learners that come from very diverse backgrounds. These students work very hard to learn the new vocabulary, the new grammar rules, as well as how to speak, read, and write.
For most of my students, Spanish is a new and exciting world.
For some students, Spanish will be their third or fourth language to learn. For others, it is their native language, and they thoroughly enjoy being able to use Spanish for one of their classes.
My Project
The pencil holders and highlighters will help the students learn how to take good notes. The red pens will allow for them to see their mistakes easily when we grade as a class.
The books such as El Lorax (The Lorax) will help the students learn how to comprehend what they read.
I will make activities to go with the books. These books will be available to the students to check out as well!
The chapter books such as Diario de Greg: Un renacuajo (Diary Of A Wimpy Kid) will challenge my native Spanish speakers. They will concentrate more on writing reports on the books instead of spending time learning something they already know.
