Learning Sight Words in a Snap, with Snap Words
My students need Snap Words to have the opportunity to learn in more than one way.
I work with the most fantastic population of students in our district! We also happen to be the largest Title I school in our district. All of our students have the option to participate in the free breakfast and lunch program. Our students also have the opportunity to sign up for "Backpack Buddies" where they get to take home a backpack full of food home for the weekend.
I have the opportunity to work with students from all over the globe, from remote villages in Alaska to refugees from Gambia.
Snap Words teach sight words to students who do not learn reading in a typical way. Snap words are able to reach students with a wide range of exceptionalities and skills. When students have a foundation in sight words they are able to begin reading with more confidence and a higher rate of success.
Snap words will make learning sight words engaging, exciting and give students something to look forward too.
I can't wait to give student the opportunity to begin reading with fluency and master these early reading skills to build a strong foundation and love of reading. They will love this resource.
