This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Covid has directly impacted my students because it has impacted the way in which I teach in my classroom. In order to provide students with rich classroom engagement and high interest activities, I have flipped my classroom. Students watch videos of the direct instruction and get real, hands-on experience during class time. These engaging experiences will help close the learning gap that occurred during covid.

Because students are empowered to work at their own pace, providing resources to use during class like headphones and calculators will create a more efficient and comfortable work space for my students.
