Learning Phonics with Handheld Write and Wipe Boards

Help me give my students access to learning phonics skills by supplying them with handheld Lakeshore write and wipe answer boards, erasers, and an answer board supply carrier for all of the supplies.

My Students

My students are hard working and determined. I work with students that struggle with reading in grades 1-5. These students receive additional support in phonics instruction daily. My students work hard and have to sometimes work harder than others to make gains in their reading.

My students are eager to learn, but are sometimes held back by the frustration of reading.

With their determination, they continue to make growth by learning phonics skills that are needed to make reading easier.

My Project

These boards will make learning even more fun. They write on paper all day. To help engage them more in their learning, the write and wipe boards will allow them to show their answers in a new way.

I'm always looking for new strategies to keep learning fun.

Students will be able to hold the boards up or flip them over to show their answers. The boards will encourage all students to share answers without having to say the answer in front of other students. They will encourage the whole group to participation and give all students an equal voice.
