Learning Outdoors

Help me give my students a great outdoor environment for learning. We need a child's size picnic table, two child's size rocking chairs, and an outdoor area rug for small group learning outside.

My Students

In our Montessori classroom you will find students moving about the room, choosing lessons throughout the day that help them develop a sense of order, concentration, coordination and independence. Our class is full of curious and energetic students who are excited about learning!

My Project

We are fortunate enough to have a backdoor in our classroom that leads to our own garden and patio. We have many raised flower beds that children grow plants and vegetables. We are requesting a large outdoor rug so that we can have small group lessons outdoors. We are also requesting rocking chairs and a picnic table, so that children may sit and enjoy themselves while learning outdoors.

Donations to this project will improve the overall peacefulness of our classroom.

Children will have a sense of calmness while working outdoors. Children will feel more at home sitting outside rocking in their chairs while enjoying a book and fresh air.
