My Students
Our school is made up of a community! These students take pride in where they learn and come to school prepared to be held accountable. All of my students have to work harder at learning and with the right tools, resources, and support they can achieve anything.
My students are eager to learn and excited to be successful.
In my classroom, they know they can do anything!
The items that I am looking for will help me set up my first year in a brand new school, in my own space! I am excited to give my students the best learning experience.
My Project
As a Kindergarten Special Education Case Manager, I want to empower my students. Providing flexible seating, comfy floor seating that provides stability and improves focus and literacy choices is important for students who need specialized instruction. Students who have more choices and feel more in control of their learning. This choice makes for more successful learners. Offering different literacy activities engages students in activities that help them become better readers. These games are tools that can be used to improve basic reading skills for struggling kindergarten students. Games are also an exciting and engaging way for students to learn to read and hopefully love to read. Using word family cards and unisex cubes to create exciting games to empower reading is a fun way to engage students. My goal is to teach kids to not only read but to love to read! Giving them this base and then offering flexible seating to practice reading is important to help students grow as readers, thinkers, and learners! Thank you!
