Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"We're changing the world with technology." - Bill Gates. With ipad minis in our class, we will have the world at our fingertips!
Our class is comprised of 22 eager 5 and 6 year old learners.
They are a diverse group of boys and girls with different learning styles, abilities, and interests. What's the one thing they all have in common? They love technology and they can easily learn from it!
My Project
With iPad minis in our classroom, students will be able to use them in a variety of ways. From doing our Lexia reading program, to our new interactive math software, to practicing their sight words, to exploring science and social studies topics, to solving math problems. The iPads will open an endless world of possibilities at my students' fingertips.
iPads are a way for students to learn and not even realizing they are learning!
I will also be able to use the iPads for my ELL students and my students performing below-grade level, in order to best captivate and teach them.
Ultimately, I would love to have 22 iPad minis in my classroom for every student to access the limitless possibilities they allow.
For now, two mini iPads would be a great start! I want my students to be engaged with learning and to fall in love with it at this young age. I want their world to be opened to limitless possibilities! With your help, the world is only a swipe away!
