My Students

Creative, energetic, and fun loving kids is how I explain my students. We enjoy learning through singing, dancing, art, hands on activities, and anyway that will help them remember and learn.

These students live in a low to middle class economical area and many receive reduced-price or free lunch.

I have a mixture of students who come from broken homes, single-parent homes, and more. I also have a number of students who receive extra help in their math, reading, speech, and English language learning. We have families that value education. I hope that as a teacher I wont let them down and that I can provide the best education possible.

With Covid we have had to learn how to teach online and then how to get kids caught back up to grade level this year. We work hard and are all doing our best.

My Project

In today's learning environment there are a few things that would greatly help my students. Headphones to use in class as well as at home on their Chromebooks. Dry Erase dots for my table to use during small group instruction. They will be able to quickly show work and practice things right there with me guiding their learning. Compact mirrors so kids can see their mouth shapes as they learn how to make all the phoneme sounds in words. Last I would like a magnetic wand and counters to use with the LETRS training I have received. The wand and counters will help kids identify phonemes in words and parts of words.
