Help me give my students clipboards and a clipboard holder so they can easily complete their labs without paper problems. Also, we would like colored ink to make our labs really pop.
My students are unique, gifted in their own ways, and in need of a champion. I teach around 300 7th grade students a year. My students are a mixture of socioeconomic levels but with these different levels, come different struggles.
I strive to teach my students, using methods that are both creative and engaging so my students can find their own way to their success.
When learning is engaging to the whole child, students thrive, not just in my classroom, but in life.
My students don't always have the support at home that is needed to be successful in today's competitive learning environments. Teaching them their own power and problem solving skills is the best way for my students to succeed.
My Project
As a life science class, we complete labs that allow students to move around the room learning collaboratively with their peers. This can be complicated when you don't have an adequate writing surface to use.
I am asking for a clipboard for all of my students to use during their labs as well as a clipboard holder to keep us organized in between labs.
I am also requesting a new ink cartridge for our classroom printer. Printing the labs in color really allows students to see the details and makes for a more engaging lab experience. My students love to move around the room and work together with their peers to learn through investigation. These resources would make their experiences so much easier and allow them to focus on learning, instead of paper problems.
