My Students

I have an amazing class filled with some amazing kids. They love school and come in each day with a positive attitude to learn. It has been a difficult year for these special 6 year-olds. Almost all of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch. After having to be out of school for four months, they were excited to come back to school. Due to the pandemic, school is different. Students are in their seats most of the day and they must face in one direction. There is no more group work, no more dancing and singing. And yet, they are determined to learn!

My Project

Due to the students having to stay in their seats facing one direction, it has cut down on the amount of area for creative teaching! I really want to be able to have the ability to use paper and a whiteboard that can be utilized anywhere!

Having a rolling whiteboard that takes up very little space would allow me to make learning for my students more exciting.

I can use it in so many ways! I can display creative posters for the lessons that we are learning. I can post the standards and I can use it for competitions and keeping score!

One of my most favorite ways to use this whiteboard and poster holder is that one of my students most favorite thing to do is to our guided drawing activity. We create the main character of a book we have studied all week. This is something they really look forward to each Friday. Please support this project!
